We are blessed to have a wonderful Chef that wedding planners rave about. And a kitchen brigade that is a consistent and constant long-term team. Here, in the Gulf Islands, we are surrounded with an abundance of fresh grown produce, free range livestock and artisan cheeses, and routinely impress even the most discerning palate. Our menus change frequently to best reflect our four-season climate. In addition, we take into consideration allergies and dietary restrictions of your guests.
Our Restaurant Manager will help you choose the perfect wines to compliment your dinner, your palate and your budget. We have a extensive selection of both local and international wines to choose from. We are happy to assist you in choosing the appropriate wine selections for your menu.

We can help you start off your life together in a magical way...from the warm and professional marriage commissioner to a champagne toast with canapés following the ceremony if desired.
We are excited to help you plan your perfect day: you can choose to have outdoor dining, with an indoor reception to follow. Our Chef and Restaurant Manager prefer to help you with choices of a plated menu, to ensure you have that "special" event you are wanting.
You can celebrate with family and friends in an elegant yet rustic island setting of wood floors, stone fireplaces, and expansive windows to enjoy the view. For your enjoyment, we feature a surround sound system, dance floor , projector and screen for slide shows, all within fabulous West Coast décor.
CakesBecause we know how personal it is, we welcome you to bring your own cake from your favourite bakery.
DecorOur weddings all have amazing personal touches. We will help guide you to ensure all signage and decorations are perfect for your event and our venues...and most people find that the amazing ambiance carries most of the decor!
Event GuaranteesThe Galiano Inn will require a guaranteed number of guests, and their menu choices, two weeks prior to the event, to ensure everything is perfectly planned for your big day.
PaymentWe will block and hold rooms for your guests. The wedding deposit will be required at the time of contract signing to reserve your wedding date. 50% of the deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to book another wedding for that date.
We will block and hold rooms for your guests. A down payment of the first night and tax for all rooms booked by your guests will be due upon room reservation. When booking out the Inn for a Destination Wedding, all available rooms must be committed to by the bridal party, whether or not any individual guests cancel, to ensure the whole resort remains the fabulous wedding-focused event.
BC Marriage RegulationsA Marriage License must be obtained by the bride and groom before the wedding. Warm and wonderful local Marriage Commissioners are available to perform your ceremony. St, Margaret's of Scotland Church in the Anglican tradition is available a few minutes away.
